The air pump works just fine but must be plugged into your car's cigarette lighter charging port to operate. This is not ideal if you would rather get your GoBoat as close to the water as possible before inflating.
I bought this air pump but only used it twice before investing in a rechargeable battery powered air pump which works amazing and at $70 is basically half the price.

I got the fee pump with the boat but reading all reviews of the GOBOAT and other inflatable boats, they all recommended buying the electric air pump. I also search for different pumps and due to pricing decided just to order the Go Boat unit since it was designed for the GOBOAT, I am glad I did it. it works great and fast, and even really works great for deflating

Please consider attachments for different power sources. The cigarette lighter is not always convenient. Converters for battery and electric outlet would be great.

This air pump was great, especially when you are putting the boats away. It will deflate all air so you can get the boats back in the carrying bag.
